Stamp Set Showcase Week 9 (1)

Good Saturday Morning to you all and of course it is the start of a new Stamp Set Showcase

And this weeks Stamp Set is .... Drum Roll please ...

PERFECT PENANTS

And to break my usual way of things, Todays card make is unadulterated Perfect Penants

No extra  Stamp Sets, only 3 ink pads, two different cardstocks, 1 pack of Blendabilities, 1 Framelits Die Set and a couple embellishments ... pretty good for me don't you think???

So begin by making your card blank by trimming a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 14.8cms x 21cms. Score the long side at 10.5cms, fold the  score line and burnish with your bone folder. Put to one side.

Trim another piece of Whisper White cardstock to 14.2cms x 9.5cms

Take the Chevron banner stamp and begin with coastal cabana ink, and randomly stamp the cardstock.

Repeat this process with Tempting Turquoise ink, leaving some white space and overlapping other areas.

Finally, repeat again using Soft Suede ink.

Now take the Star Stamp and overstamp your background in all three of the inks used for the background. Stamp a few extra's onto Whisper White cardstock, and Die Cut using Star Framelits Collection.

Adhere to the card blank using either small amounts of Tombow MP Glue or Sticky Strip.

Next stamp the sentiment in Soft Suede ink onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock. Now get out your Coastal Cabana Blendabilities Alcohol Pen set and create a blended background for your sentiment.

Trim this to a rectangle measuring 5.5cms x 8.5cms

Mat (Layer) this onto a piece of Kraft card measuring 6cms x 9cms

Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse. Tie a piece of 3/8" Bermuda Bay ribbon to the sentiment topper. Adhere the topper to the card.

Add stampin dimensionals to the reverse of the stars and adhere them to the card.

Add some Basic Rhinestones  and your card is made.

A great unisex all occasion card ...
