Now I did promise you all that I would try to make more Cards for Men
And I am a woman of my word.
And all the best cards for men have one key stamp set to create masculine backgrounds, and that would be
GORGEOUS GRUNGE
& I have coupled it with
GUY GREETINGS
Begin by Trimming a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 13.8cms x 9.5 cms
I created a faux plaid effect by using the straight lines stamp in Gorgeous Grunge, going diagonally one way with Blackberry Bliss ink, and the opposite way with Lost Lagoon ink, I then randomly stamped this cardstock with the large splodge stamp from Gorgeous Grunge, using Sahara Sand ink.
Dry Emboss this with Argyle TIEF using either your Big Shot (tab 1) or Texture Boutique.
Mat (Layer) this onto a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock cardstock measuring 14.3cms x 9cms.
Next, stamp the anchor onto a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock using Soft Suede ink, and stamp the sentiment beneath it in the same colour. Trim to a neat rectangle using your Stampin Trimmer.
Trim a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to 3cms x 14.3cms and adhere to the cardfront as seen in the photo's/
Mat onto Blackberry Bliss cardstock measuring 0.5cms larger than the size of the stamped cardstock. Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of the Blackberry Bliss cardstock and offset overlapping both panels on the card front.
I created a mosaic effect on the crumb panel using oddments of the mini Ticket label (Ticket Duo Punch), and basic Gems Pearls, some of which I coloured with my Blendability Pens.
And there you have it, a quick and simple card to make.
