Well, I am rather late getting around to today's blog post, as I have been over the park getting some Dog Training in with my 10 month old Miniature Schnauzer, Bentley!!
He is now flaked out on his bed he he
Today's card has been made to send to a friend. It is 99% Garden in Bloom, but I wonder how many of you will notice the 1 % that is from another of Stampin'Up!'s Stamp Sets
Leave a comment below if you can find it.
With the exception of the Archival black Ink Pad that I used for the sentiment, I went with a monotone colour scheme of Sweet Sugarplum & White
The 5" (12.5 x 12.5 cm) square card base is using Thicker Whisper White Cardstock
The mainWhisper White Panel was was stamped once in the top right using Sweet Sugarplum Ink Pad, with a stamping off the page technique (i,e - not all the image is stamped onto the cardstock), and the sentiment was stamped over this flower.
I added a strip of Sweet Sugarplum Ruched Ribbon (Tear & Tape is a great adhesive for adding ribbon & trim).
The panel was then mat (layered) onto Sweet Sugarplum Cardstock and this was then mat onto the card base using Stampin Dimensionals for added depth.
I stamped 2 more flowers and fussy cut them out, again stamped in Sweet Sugarplum Ink. The smaller was added using a mini glue dot & the larger flower, I popped a couple of Stampin Dimensionals on the back, got some large loops of Gold Thread and attached the loops partially onto the Dimensionals, then added the flower to the card base.
The card was finished simply with a Gold Enamel Shape for a bit of bling
