Welcome to a new weeks Stamp Set Showcase
And this week we have
MANY MERRY STARS
So I hope you are all up for yet more Christmas Goodies?
And to kick this week off, I have a really quick one layer card (OLC) that can be made quickly and cheaply. Children could make them for their Teachers, Friends and Family
Change up the colours of the cardstock and the ink pads and each card can look unique. You could even change it from a landscape card into a Portrait orientation
If you wanted to make it more complicated, then layer it up and pop up some of those snowflakes on Stampin Dimensionals
But for the here and now, this is how I made the OLC
Start by making your card blank by trimming an A4 sheet of Crumb Cake cardstock to 14.8cms x 21cms.
Use your metric plate and Simply Scored Tool and with the long side at the top of the board, score at 10.5cms. Fold the score line and burnish the fold with your bone folder.
Now for the stamping
Mount your Sentiment stamp on an acrylic block and using Whisper White Craft Ink OR White Stazon Ink, stamp the sentiment.
Next randomly stamp some snowflakes from the assortment in the stamp set in Crumb Cake ink for a tone on tone effect.
Finally, Stamp some snowflakes , again randomly, using Whisper White Craft Ink or White Stazon Ink.
And that is it ... how quick and simple was that?
And you will see one of the shortest products used lists ever!
