Welcome to the penultimate day of this weeks Stamp Set Showcase of
MANY MERRY STARS
And today's card uses a combination of Soft Suede cardstock, Kraft card. Heat Embossing and that totally lush Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon. The label is made using the Project Life cards & Labels framelits.
And here is how to make it ...
Begin by making your 6" (15cm) Square card blank ... I am not going to tell you how to do this every day now as so many of my blogposts explain this, but I will do it once a week from now on.
Next, trim a piece of Kraft Card to 12cms x 12cms
Using Versamark, randomly stamp a variety of the Many Merry Stars Stamps, dust with White Embossing Powder, then give one sharp rap on the back of the cardstock to remove any excess embossing powder.
Heat set using your Heat Tool. Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse side.
Wrap around some of that Lush Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon and tie a large bow.
Now trim a piece of Soft Suede cardstock to 14.5 cms x 14.5 cms
Use the same stamps you used on the Kraft card, and this time, randomly stamp the outside borders of the Soft Suede cardstock them using Gold Encore ink.
Ink the edges of both pieces of cardstock using a Sponge Dauber and Gold Encore Ink.
Mount the Kraft card panel on top of the Soft Suede panel. and then mount the topper onto your card blank using a little Tombow Multipurpose Glue
I have used a sentiment stamp from a retired stamp set, that was recently in the Clearance Rack on my website, so do check it out via the Promotions Tab at the top of this blog to see if there are any offers you fancy in there.
Stamp the sentiment of your choice onto a scrap of Whisper White cardstock using Versamark, dust with Gold Embossing Powder. Remove the excess powder and heat set with your Heat Tool.
Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse and mount onto your card.
Add some Stampin Dimensionals and you hare all done!
Do share your own version of this card with me as I would love to see your CASED versions.
