Sale A Bration 2015 Week 4 Day 2

As promised, today is another Gorgeous Grunge Mash Up Day

and today it is combined with the Crazy About You Stamp Set in the Seasonal Catalogue

I went with the colours of 

Whisper White

Pear Pizzaz

Crisp Cantaloupe &

Baked Brown Sugar

both ink pads and Cardstock,

I made an A6 card blank using Crisp Cantaloupe Cardstock

I thenstamped the rope flower from Crazy About You stamp set onto a semicircle of book print paper. I used some scraps I have left from a now retired DSP, but you could use Typeset DSP instead, 

Next I used a combination of each of the Gorgeous Grunge stamps to create the background on the Whisper White panel, the punched heart and the the Pear Pizzaz Banner.

To help the card on the way, I used a combination of the following punches

2" Circle

2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch

Banner Punch 

Sweetheart Punch

Now there is a little trick to the Banner Punch. From practice, the banner punch can takes strips of cardstock up to 1.5cms wide, If you use the punch in the conventional way, you get a cut little flag/banner. BUT if you stamp your sentiment (if using one) and trim the qcm or 1,5 cms wide and as long as the sentiment is, you can punch banner ends by inserting the label in through the top of the punch, between the blades, ensuring you insert the cardstock toward the banner shape ... you can make banners/labels as LONG as you like!
