Sale A Bration 2015 Week 2 Day 3

Today brings another monochromatic creation. I love colour in my cards, but think that monochromatic designs have such a classy feel, and works really well for weddings, anniversaries and sympathy cards.

With the Happy Heart TIEF used in todays card, the intention is one of love in the air!

I have combined the Lovely Lace, Happy Heart and Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folders (TIEF) allowing the different textures in the project to create more interest,

The inks/cardstock used today were:

Very Vanilla

Crumb Cake

Chocolate Chip

The stamp set used are :

Something Lacy & 

For the New Two

I also had fun using different sized Circle Punches, & Scallop Circle Punches, some of which have also been dry embossed.

I created the label by first stamping the sentiment onto Very Vanilla Cardstock, 

Trimming the tag down to the depth I wanted and then inserted one end into the circle punch through the TOP of the punch taking care to insert the cardstock between the blades. This will create a concave edge to the tag. Repeat with the opposite end.

I kept the embellishments simple with leaves punched using the Bird Builder Punch in Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla and Chocolate Chip cardstock
