Today I have one of my favourites made with the In Colours 2013 to 2015
and products from the Stampin Up! Seasonal Spring/Summer Catalogue
The Stamp Set is Crazy About You which comes with a co-orinating Thinlets Die. They are available as a Bundle, saving 15% on the purchase Price.
The stamp set has 33 stamps, including 2 flowers and a leaf, with phrases to cover just about all occasions
Here, I have gone for a tone on tone with the Framelit and cardstock, using Strawberry Slush cardstock,
When working with intricate dies, there are a couple of tips to help you get a nice crisp die cut that extracts easily from the metal die.
The first is to place a piece of wax paper (just the stuff used for wrapping sarnies) between the metal die and the cardstock.
The second is to place a cheap dryer sheet on top of the bottom cutting plate of your Big Shot,
so your sandwich looks like this from the bottom up)
Cutting Plate
Tumble Dryer Sheet
Cardstock
Wax Paper
Metal Die cutting blades facing down
And finally, run your sandwich back and forth through your Big Shot up to four times.
The flower Die Cut is part of the Artisan Embellishment Kit in the Spring/Summer Catalogue, as is the organza rose trim.
Finally, I stamped Sunshine from the stamp set onto Whisper White Cardstock using Black Stazon ink and mounted it vertically, and added a few Basic Pearls,
I hop you agree that this is a pretty card for any woman, and perfect to use for Weddings, Anniversaries, and Birthdays?
I will miss the Artisan Embellishment Kit When the Seasonal Mini Catalogue ends!
