Guy Greetings Masculine Vintage Style Worlds Greatest Husband Card Stampin Up! UK

Today I have another masculine card for you. It is another card made using the Guy Greetings stamp set. I have left the sentiment simple, so you can decide which of the sentiments in this Stamp Set, is appropriate for your card or scrapbook page.

If you are wondering if the background is a single stamp? The answer is no. The background is stamped using a random pattern created with a mixture of all the sentiments in the stamp set.

I started by stamping the p outside edge and then randomly using stamps the work from that outside border, and working in towards the centre .

I used Sahara Sand Ink Pad onto Very Vanilla cardstock for a subtle tone on tone background.

I then stamped the main stamps onto Very Vanilla Cardstock using Night of Navy Ink Pad & fussy cut them out with my paper snips. The anchor was stamped directly into one corner of the panel., and then mat onto a Night of Navy Card Base

The Boxer was stamped using Archival Basic Black Ink Pad and coloured using my Aquapainter for a watercolour effect. This element was fussy cut out and mounted onto the card base .

Products used:

Stamp Set: Guy Greetings

CARDSTOCK: Night of Navy, Very Vanilla, Shimmery White

INK PADS: Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Archival Black

Tools: Paper Snips, Stampin trimmer; Acrylic Blocks, bONE fOLDER

ADHESIVES: Tombow, Stampin Dimensionals

ACCESSORIES: Aquapainter

Tutorial

Trim a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock to 30 x 10.5 cms; score at 14.9 cms; fold & Burnish
Trim a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 14.4 x 10.1 cms - stamp this panel using Sahara Sand Classic Ink Pad, using a combination of the sentiment stamps in the Guy Greetings Stamp
Set
Overstamp one corner with the Anchor stamp using the Night of Navy Classic Ink Pad.
On a scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock stamp the Banner and Sentiment of your choice using Night of Navy Classic Ink Pad; Fussy Cut the banner, and trim the sentiment to size and create banner ends using paper snip; mount onto the panel.
Using Archival Black Ink Pad to stamp the Boxer onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock a & transfer ink from the ink pad, into the 'well' of the ink pad, by firmly squeezing the closed ink pads;
Pick up ink from the well, to paint the boxer.
Fussy cut the boxer and mount onto the card front

An Embossed Brick Wall with Birthday Blossoms Pansy Punch CASE Card Stampin' Up! UK

Only Five Days left before the new Catalogue Launch
Can you believe it? A Year has flown by!

Today I have a super simple and quick card to make using the Big Shot for some Dry Embossing with the Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF)
There is a little stamping with the assistance of the Birthday Blossoms Embossing Folder. The Flowers were created by stamping onto Delightful Dijon Cardstock using the Crushed Curry Classic Ink Pad.
The project has been co-ordinated with some Crushed Curry Bakers Twine and a few Basic Rhinestones.

If you haven't done any Dry Embossing before, trust me, it is super easy using the Die Cutting Machine (Big Shot).

Tutorial

Trim a piece of Smokey Slate Cardstock to 21 x 14.8 cns; score at 10.5 cms; fold & Burnish with a bone folder
Randomly stamp the front of the card base with the Blossom stamp from the Birthday Blossoms Stamp Set using Archival Basic Black Ink Pad.
Trim a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 10 x 10 cms, insert into the Brick Wall TIEF and place an acrylic cutting plate above and below the embossing folder.With the Multi-Purpose Platform on Tab 1, and the fold of the embossing folder going into the Big Shit first, run the TIEF through the Big Shot. Remove the cardstock from the folder
Using Archival Basic Gray Ink Pad, stamp the Birthday greeting on one of the 'Bricks' leaving space for mounting your flowers later on.
Decide which side you want facing up, and wrap around some Bakers Twine and tie a bow
Attach the embossed card to the bottom section of the card front using Stampin Dimensionals for some 'Lift'
Stamp a couple of Pansy Flowers from the stamp set, onto Delightful Dijon Cardstock using Crushed Curry Ink Pad & punch out using the Pansy Punch
Stamp 4 leaves from the stamp set using Cucumber Crush Ink Pad onto Garden Green Cardstock, Fussy Cut the leaves using Paper Snips, creating long stems
Attach two leaves behind each Flower using the Fine tip Glue Pen. Add a couple of Stampin Dimensionals behind each flower and mount onto your card front, and secure the base of the stems using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

Tutorial

Trim a piece of Basic Black Cardstock to 30 x 10.5 cms; score at 14.9 cms; fold & Burnish
Trim a piece of Playful Palette Designer Series Paper to 14.4 x 10.1 cms; mat onto the card base
Trim a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 9.7 x 14 cms
Using Archival Black ink pad, Stamp the easel onto the left hand side of the Whisper White Panel
Using the splatter stamp, stamp a couple of times with each of the 20152017 In Colour Ink Pads (Flirty Flamingo, Emerald Envy, Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach & Sweet Sugarplum)
Next, over-stamp using one of each Brush Stroke in the 5 In Colours
Finish by stamping the Friendship Stamp onto the Easel.
Mat onto your Card Base

Tutorial

Tim a piece of Kraft Cardstock to 30 x 10.5 cms; Score at 14.8 cms; Fold & Burnish
Trim a piece of Rose Red Cardstock to 14.4 x 10.1 cms & mat onto the card base
Trim a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock to 14 x 9.7 cms, stamp with the large flower in the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set.
Add some Venetian Lace Trim across the centre of the panel
Die cut the Striped Scallop Thinlet Die using Sahara Sand Cardstock; Adhere to the card front using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
Sta,p the large label stamp onto a piece of Sahara Sand Cardstock using Tip Top Taupe ink pad. Fussy cut around the label; mat onto a piece of Rose Red Cardstock, and Fussy Cut around the label,
Stamp the 'Just Because' sentiment from the Tin of Cards Stamp Set in Tip Top Taupe ink onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock; Punch out using the XL Oval Punch
Using the Tip Top Taupe Stampin Write Marker with the fine nib end, add faux stitches around the edge of the oval label. Layer up the Labels using Stampin Dimensionals and add to the card front.
Stamp two more large flowers and fussy cut them out with your paper snips, add to the front os your card
Add an In Colour Blossom Accent resin flower with a drop of Chrystal Effects; finish with a few basic rhinestones
