One for the Girls
This card was made for my one of my grandaughters Birthday who was 4 recently. She loves all things pink and girlie and this STYLIN GIRL stamp set fit the bill perfectly.
I used a combination of Soft Sky and Blushing Bride cardstock for the layers. The main image was stamped in black Stazon ink onto Whisper White Carstock. A 'halo' of soft sky was sponged around the image to pop the image out. The image was coloured a faux watercolour technique using blender pens and ink pads (see Catalogue Countdown Day 6 blogspost).
The pink cardstock was dry embossed using Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF).
The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners stamp set and co-ordinating Framelits Die. A little Crochet Trim and some Basic Pearls, the card is complete.
My grandaughter loved it, and spent the rest of the day in one of her TuTu's so she could be a princess!
