Serene Silhouettes meets Coastal Cabana & Baked Brown Sugar

As a rule, I am not one for Designer Series Papers ... they are beautiful and varied, I just prefer to stamp my own backgrounds, but I fell in love with the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack in the Spring Summer Seasonal Catalogue!!

I decided to change up the Simply Fabulous Simply Sent Kit.

I began by Heat Embossing the card with two of the stamps from the Serene Silhouettes stamp set, in white embossing powder. I then sponged the card with Coastal Cabana ink.

I then trimmed a piece of Baked Brown Sugar cardstock to 14.5 x 14.5 cms and layered 2 pieces of rectangular cardstock from the Fresh Prints paper stack, rounding 2 opposing corners on each piece, One piece was mounted on the vertical, and another on the horizontal.  I finished the card with a boutique details (Baked Brown Sugar) and some rhinestones, plus the sentiment.
