Today I am sharing a Scrapbook Page with you
And I know that the Hearts Framelits have now retired, but I just had to show you this page made by one of our sons, Christopher.
Now Chris does not take after his mum (aka me!) as he is not a born crafter
On the rare occasion he is in my Workshop, it is usually to disrupt one of my classes with his larger than life personality he he
However, last year, on 13th June, He married his partner Gemma
& They decided, that with my help, they would make all their invitations and wedding favours.
Well, Gemma and I did, Chris kept us organised and topped up with plentiful cups of Builders Tea he he
If you have followed my blog over the past few years, you will probably recall me posting these & photo's of their wedding.
Anyhow, since the 1st wedding anniversary is PAPER, Chris Asked if I could help him create a framed Scrapbook Page to celebrate the occasion.
After selecting the photo's he wanted on the page, he decided to stick with the Red, White and Black theme from their wedding.
Once I had shown him how to stamp, die cut, and layer, he was away.
I am thrilled that he managed to fit in the above adorable photo of out youngest granddaughter, Skye (Chris & Gemma's daughter)
These are the products he used that are currently available in either the 2015-2016 Annual Stampin,p! Catalogue, in the Weekly Deals or Clearance Rack

Now, I know I am biased, but I think that this a pretty good job done for a first attempt at a scrapbook page for a complete novice .... what do you think?
I wish this showed the start of a love of crafting, but I am realistic, and Chris' creative expression is through his ever increasing collection of body art, in the form of tattoo's bless him
