Definitely Dahlias Marker to Stamp Technique with One Big Meaning

Today is a sad day.

We have to attend the funeral of a good friend.

Goodbyes are always so hard!

So I needed an uplifting, thankful Card

Mostly because, we are thankful that out friend was in our lives, and our lives are all the richer for it

So today I have gone with a simple, but very pretty card

All you need is the stamp sets

A set of Stampin Write Markers

Some Cardstock

A Trimmer

And some Candy Dots

& here are the products I used to make this lovely card

Begin by making your card base using Pear Pizzazz Cardstock

Then trim your piece of Whisper White cardstock to size.

If you are using a clea Mount Definitely Dahlia Stamp, mount it onto a clear block.

If the stamp is new, ensure you condition the rubber stamp by inking it up and stamping off onto scrap paper. Repeat this several times, until the stamp is coming out crisp and clear.

Now you need to get out your Subtles Stampin Write Markers

I began by inking the stamp up from the outside toward the middle.

I inked the stamp up in this order

Calypso Coral

Blushing Bride

So Saffron

& Pear Pizzazz.

Before stamping onto your scquare of Whisper White Cardstock, give a couple of big 'Huffs' onto your inked up rubber stamp to re-moisten the ink

And stamp

Once the ink is dry, overstamp the flower using one of the Thankful stamps using Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad.

Mount this panel onto your card base using Fast Fuse Adhesive

Add some Subtles Candy Dots and you are all done
