Well Stampin Up! is on the cusp of the 2013/14 Stampin Up! Catalogue launch, and today they have disclosed the retirement list of stamps and accessories. You can view these lists via my demonstrator website and you can also browse the catalogues via this link to view the items on the lists.

Be Sure to check out both the Stamps retiring list AND the Accessories (ink pads, cardstock, tools ets) list.

The stamp set that saw me joinging the ranks as a Stampin Up Demonstrator, was the Tea Shoppe stamp set. And yes, you have guessed it, this beautiful set is on the retiring list ... So what did you think? Great project and so easy to do when you know how. The webinar is great to follow as you put your own project together ... just remember to order your stamp set first!

The Sizzix Big Shot for Stampin' Up!

Are you looking for the paper crafters ultimate guilty pleasure?

If so, here is the perfect Christmas Gift for someone special

I don't know about you but I couldn't!

The Sizzix Big Shot Manual Die Cutter is excellent for those of you who want to widen your horizons when working with card and papercraft. There are die or making small gift/favour boxes. Die to produce lace or doily effects (which are SO on Trend at the moment), you can avoid spending ages scoring card/papers to make rosettes as there is a die for those too .... Even letters allowing you to personalise your makes. Stampin Up has also brought out Thinlets Die that make your card in just a few rotations of the Big Shots handle! (more of that another day).

But not only does the Sizzix Big Shot cut shapes for you, it also embosses by using embossing folders. The different types of die/embossing folders, require different thicknesses of 'plates' to produce beautiful, professional finishes to your creations. To help you, here is a small webinar to help you on your way. If you decide you MUST HAVE one ... then just contact me to place your order (details below).

If you are local to me, then pop along to one of my workshops and get to play with mine before you order ...

Do not be anxious about what the Die are and how to use the different plates ... that is what us Demonstrators are here for. I am always happy to accept questions from people on how to use the Big Shot Die Cutting Machine. No question is too small or silly. If you wan to know how to do something, you can bet your bottom dollar that many other people want (or have wanted) to know the very same thing. So be bold and ask away either by adding a comment to this blog (that takes real courage); email me via or telephone me on
