  1. CARD BASE - Trim a piece of Thicker Whisper White Cardstock to 25 x 12.5 cms; score at 12.5 cms; fold & Burnish
  2. Ink up the Hessian Stamp from ?You've Got This Stamp Set, with the Calypso Coral Ink Pad, Randomly Stamp the front of the card-base using 1st to 4th Generation Stamping Technique (the amount of times you stamp the cardstock before re-inking the stamp)
  3. trim a piece of Flirty Flamingo Cardstock to 12.1 x 7 cms; dry emboss using the Petal Burst TIEF & mount onto the front of the card-base.
  4. Trim a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 10x10 cms; stamp the hessian stamp onto the cardstock using the Calypso Coral ombre Ink Pad. The key to using these unique ink pads is to use a small circular action when inking up the stamp. this prevents lines, and give a better gradient of colour.
  5. Over-stamp the the Hessian image with the Flower from You've Got This Stamp Set using Emerald Envy  Ink Pad. Mat onto a piece of Emerald Envy Cardstock measuring  10.4 x 10.4 cms; apply some Stampin Dimensionals to the back and mount onto the card-base
  6. On a scrap of Thicker Whisper White Cardstock, stamp the banner of your choice from the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set, using Emerald Envy Ink Pad; Punch out using the Banner Duo Punch; Add dimensionals to the back and mount onto the bottom right of the card.
  7. add a loopy bow of Blushing Bride Solid Bakers Twine using a mini Glue Dot; and take a few Gold Sequins from the reel, and add these randomly onto the card front using the Fine Tip Glue Pen.

By The Tide Meets & Thoughtful Banners Stampin' Up! UK

OMG What a few days!! No internet (what a surprise) The Electricity Metere hads Died with dramatic floutish, so mo electrics (ne meter put in today). and all the soft friut in the garden has ripened over the past few days. So today, I have nbeen making the first 7Kg batch of Goosberry Jam, and another batch the same size to make tomorrow.

Anyhow, Today I am sharing a card commissioned by a customer. The brief was a fishing  themed Fathers Day Card

It did mean that I had to dig down into my HUGE collection of Retired Stamp Sets, which I coupled the Thoughtful Banners Stamp Set

The fish were stamped & fussy Cut out, and then given a watery glaze using my Chrystal Effects
I used ink pads from the Brights Collection to keep a cohesive colour-scheme, For the Card Base, I used Bermuda Bay, again, for that sea theme, the blue creates a halo of colour around the whole card.

Finally II used the Hopeful Thoughts Stamp Set, with the Co-ordinating Banner Duo Punch for the banner.

Thoughtful Banners is a super photopolymer stamp set, with 53 stamps in the set!! The Set covers most sentiments and relationship stamps that you need, plus a selection of Banner Styles.
