In This World Masculine Birthday Card using Stampin' Up! Products

Oh Boy, Is it hot or what?
Well, us Brits are not acclimatised for the hotter weather normally found in most of Europe
On top of that we are doing a Summer Clean of the house and grounds!
Thank goodness we only do this twice a year he he

Anyway, it has meant I haven't posted as frequently as usual .... my apologies for that,
But to compensate, I do have a super vintage style card for you
Using the super dooper

IN THIS WORLD
Stamp Set from Stampin' Up!

I made this card for my Father in Law's Birthday
They live in rural Eire (southern Ireland) and although they built a new bungalow on their family's property, they kept the original Cottage that was home to the very many children that were born there over the generations
It is full of character. My Father In Law uses half of that cottage as his workshop
And this stamp set, so reminded me of that old cottage, with it's Boreen & a castle in the field behind their home.

The Birthday Sentiment comes from the

BUILD A BIRTHDAY
Stamp Set (also from Stampin' Up!)

I used a colour combination of
Mint Macaron; Tip Top Taupe & Very Vanilla.
The card was embellished with some of the new lush Burlap Ribbon - I LOVE it! and I am sure it will be used a great deal over the festive season.

I am now including the product item numbers on the Product List below this photo, to make ordering even easier for you, and my website link is there too
I have also included the dimensions of the cardstock that I used.
Remember to follow my Pinterest Community Board (Stamping At The Warren) so I can invite you to join and start pinning your own Stampin' Up! Makes

One Wild Ride Meets Better Together Masculine Birthday Card Using Stampin' Up! Products UK

Today I have another version of that super charged Handmade  Motorcycle Stamp Masculine (or feminine) Card using the

ONE WILD RIDE

Stamp Set

This time I am using a Random Stamping Technique, with Very Vanilla Cardstock as the main panel to create a more grungy feel to the card. Island Indigo Ink Pad was used for the birthday sentiment, motorbike images and the sentiment, and Archival Gray for the tread marks

I have coupled the One Wild Ride with a fabulous  all occasion  sentiment stamp set called

BETTER TOGETHER

This set has a combination of large, medium and small sized rubber stamps, with some being quite traditional in style, and others are more quirky.
I have found myself using this stamp set  a LOT

The card was accessories with Night of Navy Enamel Shapes (I used stars), and some Silver Thread. The Banner was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock and fussy cut out (i.e. cut out by hand using paper snips.

Below you will find a list of the products used today, dimensions of the cardstock, Y the accompanying Video Tutorial

Seaside Shore Nautical Themed Birthday Card using Stampin Up! Products UK

Happy Sunday ... Another Very Warm day, so this card gives the sense of cool waters washing over me! he he

Anyhow, Today is one of my Baby Brothers Birthday. He is 10 years younger than me and spends all his social time teaching people scuber diving. scuber diving is more than a hobby for him though, it is a real passion, and he has been to foreign climes to dive with sharks, whales etc

And this is the card I made my brother Karl!! Happy Birthday Baby Bros!!

SEASIDE SHORE

As soon as this stamp set made it's appearance in the new Stampin' Up! Catalogue, I just had to have it. Finding nautical themed cards can be challenging, but I can always rely on Stampin, Up! to have something I love, that I can use.

But I will also use this stamp set for Children, men and women, as it is a great, multi-purpose collage stamp set.

Below you will not only see the Video I made that accompanies today's blog post, but also a products list and a quick typed tutorial

  2. Trim two pieces of Whisper White Cardstock to 14.4 x 10.1 cms; adhere one of these to the inside of your card base for you to write/stamp your greeting
  3. Now for stamping the card. Use a combination of the blue/green ink pads listed above to stamp the Kelp, Fish & Bubbles
  4. Use Soft Suede to stamp the rope, anchor, and clam shells. spomge the background using a combination of the blue & green ink pads, and a wedge of Stampin Sponge. Blend the inks to create an Ombre effect. Keep the stamping random, and 'white space', to give you an area to stamp your greeting. The Sentiment comes from the Build A Birthday Stamp Set. I used Dapper Denim to stamp the sentiment
  5. Finally, stamp the Ahoy Stamp using Dapper Denim Ink Pad onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock and fussy cut out using Paper S Snips. Mount onto card front using Stamping Dimensionals (cut down) & mat (layer) the stamped card front  onto the card base - remember to Check where the fold is first.

Wherever You Go Guy Greeting Masculine Birthday Card using Stampin' Up! Products UK

Today I have a Masking Technique to create the Sky Background to this Masculine Card.
The Wherever You Go Stamp Set, is another of the great collage stamp sets in the new Catalogue. Most (but not all) of the collage stamp sets, including this one, don't have sentiment Stamps in the set.
So I used the Guy Greetings Stamp Set to get the Birthday Sentiment, that was then die cut and popped up on Stampin Dimensionals for added depth. The new Burlap Ribbon is fab, and super for masculine projects.
