Well do I have a super Handmade Card for you today
I made a version of this card for for a field of mine as our Wedding Acceptance
I made a matching tag, that I put out acceptance on.
I used a combination of Crushed Curry, Rose Red & Peekaboo Peach Ink Pads for the sponging onto Thick Whisper White Cardstock, and was then Heat Embossed using Copper Embossing Powder (so on trend this year).
After the heat embossing, I then die cut the front panels of the card base using the Detailed Floral Thinlits Dies, and ran that through my Big Shot using the Precision Plate.

Last time, I made a Christmas Card, and this time I am making a Birthday Card that was designed for one of my brothers who is moving home, and is into his scuber diving BIG TIME lol. He even teaches and is trained as a Rescue Diver too.
As this is his main interest, I always try to make nautical themed cards for him.
So Today I am sharing with you an easy Z fold Card
I found the original Template on Patty Stamps, and added the Metric Measurements, since most of us over the age of 50, we are more familiar with metric measurements, rather than than imperial. That includes me ha ha

Today is a super quick tutorial as it is my Wedding Anniversary
We have been together 23 years, Marries for 16 Years
He is my Soulmate and Best Friend
And so this is his card for this year.
I began by using using a sponge brayer to add some subtle colour to the background with Dapper Denim Ink, to tie in the two halves of the card.
I used a combination of the Floral Phrases Stamp Set and the Timeless Love Stamp Set to get the sentiment I wanted on the card front.
I also stamped a sentiment inside the card
The designer Series Paper is called Moroccan & is why I chose to use Gold Ribbon to tie the two halves of the card together, and finally, used lots of teeny Basic Pearls to get more texture into the Card.

Now, I don't normally do Sneak Peaks when a new catalogue is coming up to being launched, But I was preparing for my Christmas Card Workshops for this year and I was so pleased with this one, that I just felt the need to share, and besides, we are on the cusp of the new Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue Launch any how, so this only just passes as a sneak peak he he
Not only have I used Copper Foil Cardstock, that is dry embossed Holly Embossing Folder (TIEF) but the sentiment is Copper Heat Embossed onto a strip of Crumb Cake Cardstock
I kept the embellishment simple as I wanted the bling from all that copper to be the star of the show.
So I got out my (retired) Cherry Cobbler Blendability Pen, and using the Brush Tip, I coloured some Basic Rhinestones , that were added to the card front to represent Holly Berries.
Below you will find a products list, and the dimensions of the cardstock used. There is also a link to my online store if you would like to order any the products used today (or from any of my projects)
The Product codes are beside the products to make it easier. Just print off the list and you have your shopping list.
