One Wild Ride Meets Better Together Masculine Birthday Card Using Stampin' Up! Products UK

Today I have another version of that super charged Handmade  Motorcycle Stamp Masculine (or feminine) Card using the

ONE WILD RIDE

Stamp Set

This time I am using a Random Stamping Technique, with Very Vanilla Cardstock as the main panel to create a more grungy feel to the card. Island Indigo Ink Pad was used for the birthday sentiment, motorbike images and the sentiment, and Archival Gray for the tread marks

I have coupled the One Wild Ride with a fabulous  all occasion  sentiment stamp set called

BETTER TOGETHER

This set has a combination of large, medium and small sized rubber stamps, with some being quite traditional in style, and others are more quirky.
I have found myself using this stamp set  a LOT

The card was accessories with Night of Navy Enamel Shapes (I used stars), and some Silver Thread. The Banner was stamped onto a scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock and fussy cut out (i.e. cut out by hand using paper snips.

Below you will find a list of the products used today, dimensions of the cardstock, Y the accompanying Video Tutorial

One Wild Ride Meets Guy Greetings Masculine Congratulations Card Stampin' Up! UK

You have probably guessed by now, that there are a LOT of men in my family
And so here is another Masculine card for you.
Yes it is a Grungy version of the One Wild Ride card I posted previously.

This one, is the celebrate my middle son getting a new job.
He is a mechanic and has been working with a tool hire company since he got his qualification 10 years ago. He was employed as a mechanic, but worked not only on the companies fleet vehicles, but also stood in with the domestic hire  & Repair work.
The company recently moved him into a more sales & accounts manager, taking him more and more away from what he loves
And that is being up to his armpits in grease
He is also a keen on and off road motorcyclist.
He finally decided to go for it, and specialise
And he was offered not just one, but two jobs, working 100% of the time maintaining and repairing Plant Machinery
And he went with the company that not only is more local, but also the one offering a more competitive salary. I am SO proud of him. He starts in a weeks time and is a bundle of nerves, as most of us are when to make a career change, as we question our ability to do the job.

So I decided a Card From Mum is what he needed. I hope you like it?

One Wild Ride Meets a Brick Wall Fathers Day Card using Stampin' Up! Products UK

Happy Fathers Day
Yes, in the UK, Today is the day we celebrate all our Dad's out there
Whether they have passed, as well as those that continue to be the best Dad's they can be
My Dad has faced many challenges in his life, but he has always been there for me and my 3 younger Brothers. I LOVE you Dad! More than words can say

And as a life long Motorbike enthusiast, this just seemed to be the stamp set to use for his Card.
I added some additional sentiments from my faithful Guy Greetings Stamp Set, and these I die cut them using the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Dies.
I went with a colour scheme of Basic Gray, White & Dapper Denim
The Badge is one of the stamps in the One Wild Ride Stamp set and I used the co-ordinating Punch.
The art pieces were stamped onto the cardstock After dry embossing  the White panel with the Brick Wall TIEF (Embossing Folder), with the de-bossed side placed face up. This added to the Grungy feel of the card.
Finally I added some little Silver Stars

One Wild Ride Motorcycle Masculine Card

Well, no blog yesterday as we had a day long power cut!! This wet weather is playing havoc
But I was still out in the workshop, making cards, but with no power, there are still not video's lol
So there I sat, workshop door open to get as much daylight as I could and put on my thinking cap for Fathers Day. I am not sure when you celebrate Fathers Day in the US & other countries, but here in the UK, it is the 19 June
I am sure you will have noticed that I have been making a lot of Masculine cards of late, and now you know why,
Today's card was the result of my first play with this super stamp set called
One Wild Ride
It is SO appropriate for My Family, as my Dad, one of my sons, two of my brothers  and my Uncle are all keen Motorcycle enthusiasts
I am sure I my family is representative of so many families out there.
