Sneak Peek Delicate Ornament Thinlits Dies

With a few days left before the 2015 Seasonal Autumn/Winter Catalogue goes live, and I have a little sneak Peek for you

Age Awarenes meets Gorgeous Grunge Stamp Sets

Today is Age Awareness Day

What? You've never heard of it?

Well it does exist ... honestly

well, it is a card ... for a special day, of course he he

And here is the card I have made with this fun stamp set

I have coupled the

AGE AWARENESS STAMP SET

with 

GORGEOUS GRUNGE STAMP SET

and The 

Brick Wall Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF)

This would be a fun card for anyones birthday, young, old, male or female, just by changing the colour scheme.

And here's the thing with the TIEF ... it is Square!! making these new TIEF more versatile, and removing the need to try and avoid those crease lines when you are trying to dry emboss a square piece of cardstock with an A6 embossing folder,

And it fits nicely through your Big Shot with the multipurpose platform.

I went with a graffiti look to my card,using Tempting Turquoise, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive & Pacific Point Classic Ink Pads; Tempting Turquoise Cardstock; and  the text and banner are stamped using Chocolate Chip Classic Ink Pad.

Everything Eleanor in Watermelon Wonder & Tip Top Taupe

Today, I am sharing another variation of a card I have previously posted

Using

And here is how I made this little beauty.

Begin by making your 6" card base by trimming a piece of Thicker A4 Whisper White Cardstock to 20 cms x 15 cms. score at 15 cms, fold and use a bone folder to create a crisp fold, then place to one side so it doesn't become contaminated by the inks.

Next, trim a regular piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 12 cms x 12 cms

Begin stamping using the fine platter from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set using Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink Pad. BUT before you start stamping, you need to stamp off some of the ink on the stamp onto some scrap paper first. This will give you a slightly paler colour when you stamp.

Now stamp the large label from Everything Eleanor using Tip Top Taupe Classic Ink Pad, then partially overstamp this using the Flourish stamp and Tip Top Taupe ink pad. Then, stamp the flourish again, but this time with Watermelon Wonder Ink Pad.

Wrap around some co-ordinating Watercolour Wonder Dotty Lace Trim and tiNext, stamp the sentiment of your choice from Endless Birthday Wishes Stamp Set using Tip Top Taupe Classic Ink Pad, punch the label out using the extra large oval punch.

Sponge the sentiment using the Watermelon Wonder Ink Pad.

Mount some Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of the label and adhere to the panel, near the bow.

Now for the flowers,

You are going to using the stamping off technique again, this time, onto Whisper White Cardstock, using the Watermelon Wonder Classic Ink Pad to stamp a selection of the flowers from the Everything Eleanor Stamp Set. Stamp each flower 3 times without re-inking the stamp.

Use your Paper Snips to cut out the flowers, remembering to rotate the cardstock as you snip, and don't rotate the scissors for the best effects.

Select the flowers you want to use, apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of then and add them to the panel.

Mount this panel onto a piece of Watermelon Wonder Cardstock measuring 12.4 cms x 12.4 cms.

Then mount this onto your card base.

Finish off by accessorising the card with some basic pearls.

Now it is your turn to have a go

Timeless Love in Purple Emboss Resist

This is the first time I have used this Stamp Set, and I have to say, I am in LOVE 

with the

TIMELESS LOVE

Stamp Set

The stamp set works beautifully with the Emboss Resist Technique

using Stampin Up's Classic Ink Pads and Stampin Sponges.

The cardstock is heat embossed with White Embossing Powder and the resist is highlighted using the Wisteria Wonder Classic Ink Pad for the background

& the contrasting Sentiment label uses the same technique, but sponged with Perfect Plum Classic Ink Pad.

And below are the products used

You will note that the list of products is again, very small!!

You will need to begin by creating your 6" square card base using the Thicker A4 Whisper White Cardstock by trimming a the cardstock to 25 cms x 30 cms

Score at 15 cms, fold and use your bone folder to create a nice crisp fold.

Put to one side.

Next, trim a regular piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 12 cms x 12 cms

Randomly stamp this panel with the floral stamp from Timeless Love stamp set using Versamark Ink Pad.

Dust with White Embossing Powder, shake off any excess powder and heat set with your Heat Tool.

Trim your stampin Sponge into 6 segments then ink up your sponge with Wisteria Wonder Ink from the Classic Ink Pad, remove some of the excess ink, and start sponging from the centre of the flowers, and blending the ink outward.. Add additional ink to the centre of the flowers according to your own taste and then ink all the edges of the panel.

Wrap around a piece of 5/8" Organza Ribbon and tie a soft bow.

Mat this onto a piece of Perfect Plum Cardstock measuring 12.4 cms x 12.4 cms

Now for the Sentiment

Stamp the Anniversary Stamp onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock using Versamark Ink Pad.

Dust with White Embossing Powder, remove the excess,

Heat set with your Heat Tool.

Sponge the sentiment with Perfect Plum Classic Ink Pad and a piece of Stampin Sponge.

Punch out the sentiment or use the Oval Framelits.

Ink the edges of the cardstock and mat onto a slightly larger oval of Perfect Plum cardstock.

Lauer up the label using Stampin Sponges, and mount the label close to the Bow.

Accessorise with a few Basic Pearls

And that is it!! job Done ...

This would also look fab as a Wedding Card.
