One Sheet Wonder Better Together, Blooms & Bliss with a lovely Lace Accent using Stampin' Up! Products

Before I get on with today's project I have some great news for UK Crafters
I have spent ages today, re-organising my general Website that I sell my retired Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets & other Retired Stampin Up Products from from.
It is now much easier to navigate the items for sale from the main pages, and a better categorization of the different types of stamp sets.

& P&P is FREE!!

Well, you know that I told you that your catalogues were on their way?
Well as I was getting ready to main everything, labels and stamps attached, and I realised I have again managed to order the German version of the catalogues

To say the air in the house was blue, was an understatement!
So I ordered more, and you should have received them by the time you read this

If you haven't received one, and would like one, please contact me  on the link below, and send me  your name & address, & let me know if you would like a copy of the Annual Catalogue too.

I  blog for much too long, but I have been very unwell with severe cluster migraines that have been debilitating. So I just had to take some time out to re-group my energy. I am considering getting an eaar piercing to see if that reduces the severity & frequency of the migraines. If you have had this done, do let me know if it has been successful?

Finally managed to get a little time in my workshop, and made these one sheet wonder cards using the following Stampin' Up! Products:
managed to do some quick one sheet wonder cards using some Thick Whisper White Cardstock

For the Card Bases, I used Thick Whisper White Cardstock

BLOOMS & BLISS
Designer Series Paper
From Stampin' Up!

The sentiments are from a combination of the

BIRTHDAY BLOOMS stamp set
The BETTER TOGETHER stamp set.

I love the card below. I used the  Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder and a scrap of Mint Macaron Cardstock. After Embossing the panel, I then used the best fitting scallop circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies to die cut the Lacey circle.

I think this Designer Series Paper Pack is beautiful, and you will notice that I have managed to pop in a Christmas Card or two
Below I used the Layering Circles to create the layered labels

Here I used the Petal Burst Textured Impressions Embossing Folder as both a stamp set and an embossing folder, by inking up the Embossing Folder before placing the Cardstock inside, then ran it through my Big Shot using the new Big Shot Platform

You will also notice how well the labels mat with one another. Below I used the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies & Added some contrast with the Mint Macaron Ribbon

Petal Burst Dry Embossed Better Together Handmade Sympathy Card using Stampin' Up! Products

Welcome back everyone
I have had a lovely, relaxing, extended Summer Break after a very busy time with our Small Animal Boarding Service.
I have now got to play catch up  and get some video's recorded, so I have a busy wee ahead.
And today I am sending out the new Stampin Up! Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue. So if you are on my customer list, you will be receiving a free card kit along with your catalogue .... So watch out for the Fancy Fold Card Tutorial on my YouTube Channel (and on here) for the accompanying Tutorial.

But first, I am sharing the first of a few sympathy cards I have had to make this past week
One was for a close friend, and the other is closer to home.
I always find it emotional to make these cards but try to bring a little support from the stamps I use.

A Moroccan Timeless Love Floral Phases Anniversary Card for my Hubby using Stampin' Up! Products

Today is a super quick tutorial as it is my Wedding Anniversary
We have been together 23 years, Marries for 16 Years
He is my Soulmate and Best Friend

And so this is his card for this year.

I began by using using a sponge brayer to add some subtle colour to the background with Dapper Denim Ink, to tie in the two halves of the card.

I used a combination of the Floral Phrases Stamp Set  and the Timeless Love Stamp Set to get the sentiment I wanted on the card front.
I also stamped  a sentiment inside the card

The designer Series Paper is called Moroccan & is why I chose to use Gold Ribbon to tie the two halves of the card together, and finally, used lots of teeny Basic Pearls to get more texture into the Card.

Suite Seasons Quick & Simple Dry Embossed Handmade Halloween Card in Emerald Envy and a touch of Ghoulish Grunge

Today I have a sneak Peak from the Autumn/Winter Seasonal Catalogue that launches next week
Any of you that are Stampin' Up! Guru's will recognise the Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) as an item that is now retired, But I just HAD to get this Embossing Folder out of storage and dust off the cobwebs, as everyone begins their Halloween Preparations
Kids would LOVE to make their own Halloween Party Invites, and something simple like this is quick & easy, and a little supervision from an adult.

I decided to go with Emerald Envy Cardstock for the Card Base and dry embossed the card front.
I used a scrap of Very Vanilla Cardstock, and grunge'd it up using the netting stamp from the Ghoulish Grunge Stamp Set in Basic Grey Ink, and over-Stamped this with the Sentiment from the Suite Seasons Stamp Set in  Basic Black Black Ink

The sentiment was Die Cut using the Layering Circles Framelits Dies, and a Scallop Circle, Die Cut from Smokey Slate Cardstock. There were popped up but mounting each layer with Stampin dimensionals between, an then mounting onto the Card Base.
Finally, I added a Whisper White Panel to the inside of the card base for the you (or the Children) to write on,.

Flower Shop Masked Watercolour Technique with One Big Meaning Thank Handmade Thank You Card Using Stampin' Up! Products UK

Today's card is a great way to start with Masking & Watercolour Techniques, on this Flower Shop Thank You Card.
There is no need to buy watercolour paper, but if you have it, then use it.
In my o photo above, I have used a piece of Whisper White Cardstock, and works well, so long as you don't get the cardstock really well.
You will need  an Archival ink pad or a Stazon Ink Pad, as this prevents the inks leaching out when you begin watercolouring, Plus an aquapainter Brush
For the watercolouring, I I used Archival Gray, to give an almost invisible outline to the flowers.
I used ink pads from the Regals Colour Collection, to keep the project co-ordinated.

Masking is a way of rubber stamping,  that doesn't have any overlapping of the images. You start from the foreground and work backward masking off each flower in turn, before stamping the next image.

To make a mask is super simple.
Take a Post It Note, and stamp your image onto the note, ensuring some of the stamped image is over the area of sticky (i.e. you stamp on the front of the note); then use paper snips to cut around the image so you are left with an outline of the glower, and a small strip if sticky on the back.

To build the card, stamp your first flower & once dry, cover the flower with the mask. Stamp your next flower, remove the mask, and repeat with each flower until you have the effect you want, leaving space for the sentiment

To watercolour, select your ink pads, and if you are using Stampin Up Classic Ink Pads, all you do is squidge the ink pad firmly to transfer ink from the pad to the 'well'. Then you pop a single drop of water into the well by gently squeezing the aquapainter, from there you can start painting.

If the aquapainter gets too wet, dry it on a piece of kitchen towel.
I used dilute Crushed Curry Ink to add highlights around some of the flowers, and on a scrap of white cardstock, and painted as above, this was then punched out using the Pansy Punch, and added to the card front using Stampin Dimensionals.
Allow the cardstock to dry thoroughly before stamping your sentiment and mounting onto your card base.
Finish with a flourish of Rhinestones

Below the photo, you will find the cardstock dimensions and a list (with product codes)  of all the products used today, along with a link to my online store
