Artistically Asian with a little Emerald Envy Aperture Card Stampin' Up! UK

Today I have a lovely card for you. I think this would work really well as a Wedding or Anniversary Card, where you could colour co-ordinate the centre stamped image to the couples event

The Stamp Set I have used is called

ARTISTICALLY ASIAN

And although it is an aperture card, do not be put off of trying this as the technique is actually really simple by using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies from Stampin Up!

I added a little Delicate White Doily a the bottom of the aperture

and a generous amount of teeny basic pears for added dimension.

I used a combination o Emerald Envy Ink for the leaves. and Archival/Memento Black ink for the sentiment, and solid black bakers twine.

To make the basic aperture card,, trim a piece of Thicker White Cardstock to 30 x 10.5 cms; score at 14.9 cms; fold & Burnish

Tri, a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 14.5 x 10.1 cms; Using a ruler, draw a diagonal cross on the back of the panel, select the size aperture you want using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies, and run through your Big Shot

Lay the smaller panel over the top of the card base and make a pencil mark in each c Remove the Aperture section and and stamp the leaf image onto the card base, centering the image between the corner dots you just made

Add Stampin Dimensionals to the Aperture Panel, and mount onto your card base

Stamp your sentiment onto a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock and die cut using the Lots of Labels Framelits Dies.

Add a segment of Doily to the lower section of the card, and mount the die cut sentiment on top of the doily.

Add a bow using Black Bakers Twine

Embellish with as many or as few tiny pearls as you like

A Moroccan Heartfelt Sympathy Card using Stampin' Up! Products UK

Well, yesterday was a sad day. We had to say goodbye to a good friend.

She was my mentor, when learning about Rabbit Coat Colour Genetics, and without her, I wouldn't have the wide range of colours available in rabbits. She was a stoic lady who I admired greatly.

But each evening, I look up into our beautiful night sky, and remember all those I have lost and miss.

Anne will take her place up there, as well as in my heart, until we meet again.

The sentiment from the Heartfelt Sympathy Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! says it all

Tutorial

A6 CARD BASE - Trim a piece of Thicker Whisper White Cardstock to 30 x 10.5 cms; score at 14.9 cms; fold & burnish
Trim a piece of regular Whisper White Cardstock to 14.4 x 10.1 cms
Using Mint Macaron Classic Ink Pad, randomly stamp the Whisper White Cardstock using the Bamboo leaf stamp, with First & Second Generation Stamping Technique
Stamp the sentiment of your choice from the Heartfelt Sympathy stamp set in the top left of the panel, using Archival Black Ink Pad.
Trim a piece of Moroccan Designer Series Paper to 12 x 9.7 cms; using paper snips, cut a wide banner at the bottom, and adhere to the card front.; wrap around a piece of the Mint Macaron sheer linen ribbon, and tie a bow to one side
Die Cut a square of Whisper White Cardstock using the Layering Squares Framelits Dies, and stamp once with the Bamboo Stamp in Mint Macaron Ink; Die cut the corresponding Scallop Square using Tip Top Taupe Cardstock, Mat the die cut square, onto the scallop square using Stampin Dimensionals & mount onto the card front
Finish by adding some Enamel Shapes to the die cut square,

Artistically Asian meets Layering Love with & Affectionately Yours Stampin' Up! UK

Well, it is a bit of Miserable Monday here in wet Essex. The heavens well and truly opened, along with a good old time of Thunder & Lightening

But have I let it stop me from getting into my workshop?

Oh No!

And so today, I have a bit of an eclectic mix of stamp sets from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue for you, in today's One Layer card creation.

Tutorial

Trim an A4 piece of Mint Macaron Cardstock to 3. x 10.5 cms; score at 14.8 cms; fold & Burnish (A6 Card Base)
Using the Mint Macaron Ink Pad, randomly stamp a portion of the card front with the Acer leaf stamp from Artistically Asian Stamp Set (gives a tone on tine effect)
Trim a strip of the foiled floral paper in the Affectionately Yours Designer Series Paper Pack to 10.5 x 1.5 cms, and attach to the lower segment of the card front using Fast Fuse Adhesive
Stamp the sentiment of your choice from the Layering Love Stamp Set and stamp directly onto the card front using Dapper Denim Ink Pad
Remove a few gold sequins from the roll of Sequin Trim. and adhere to the card front using the Fine Tip glue Pen
Finish with a small bow of Melon Mambo Thicker Bakers Twine & Attach to the card front with a Mini Glue Dot
