Today features yes .... I know, I have said it before ... another of my most favourite stamp sets
POSTCARD coupled with PAPAYA COLLAGE
and
SWEET ESSENTIALS SENTIMENT STAMP SET
This card was pure indulgence for me. I am a vintage gal at heart, and whilst most stamp sets can be turned into vintag'ish cards by altering the colourscheme and/or accessories .... this stamp set is pure vintage to me, and I simply made it to add to my stash.
I began by stamping the postcard image in Calypso Coral ink onto Very Vanilla cardstock. This was then overstamped using various stamps in the Payaya Collage stamp set using a combination of Pear Pizzaz, Soft Suede and Calypso Coral
The Happy Birthday sentiment was stamped onto soft suede cardstock using soft suede ink, and die cut using the Modern Label punch. I then used the extra large Oval Punch to die cut a label from crisp cantaloupe cardstock, and sponged the edges with soft suede ink.
The card was then layered onto Pear Pizzaz cardstock after adhering the doily to the back of the postcard using Tombow multi-purpose glue. Linen thread was added prior to mounting it onto a card blank.
I have replicated this card in various colourschemes, made easy by Stampin Up's co-ordinating ink, cardstock, pens and accessories.
