CLOCKWORKS
is the stamp set for today.
I first saw this stamp set at Telford Regional Training 2013 where one of the make and take sneak peeks was making a notepad cover. Until recently, I used a lot of basic black and soft suede, but now, with summer approaching, I am using lighter brighter colours so here I have used Coastal Cabana, Summer Starfruit, Temping Turquoise and Crushed Curry.
To make the card, I began by cutting a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 21 x 14.8cms. Use the Stampin Trimmer to score the long side at 10.5cms.
Cut a piece of Tempting Turquoise cardstock to 14.3 x 10cms.
Cut another piece of Whisper White Cardstock, 23.8 x 9.5cms.
Stamp the various images using your choice of colours onto the Whisper White cardstock. - remember that Stampin Up has a fully co-ordinated range and if in doubt, send me a message to ask about the best colour combo's.Mat onto the pice of Tempting Turquoise cardstock.
Trim another piece of Whisper White cardstock to 1 x 14.8cms and adhere to the lower third of the card front using Sticky Strip.
Stamp your sentiment from the Teeny Tiny Sentiments stamp set, and die cut using the Word Window punch. Then Die punch a Modern Label from Tempting Turquoise card stock. Mount the word window onto the Modern Label and punch up using Stampin Dimensionals.
Card made in just 10 minutes ... now that's cool!
