Catalogue Countdown Day 15

Today I have two cards for you using the same stamp sets and technique, different colour schemes, accessories and Designer Series Papers.

Firstly, I mist explain that for me to fall in love with Designer Series Papers is an unusual thing. Why? well, because I prefer to stamp my own backgrounds, but when i browsed through the Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue, I fell in love with  the Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack. And that was the starting point for the first of today's cards.

The OFF THE GRID stamp set was heat embossed with white embossing powder, and then sponged with a combination of tempting turquoise and  and Melon Mambo on whisper White cardstock. The sentiment was stamped in Soft Suede and the label die cut using the extra large oval punch; this was also sponged in the same inks as mentioned. Scraps of Tempting Turquoise cardstock was used for the central band, then layered onto Soft Suede cardstock.

This card is pretty much unisex with coastal cabana and so saffron inks, creating shades of green where the two merge. SoHo Subway is the Designer Series Paper that was layered onto Pear Pizzaz and Soft Suede cardstock. I used a little scrap lattice left from the Spimply Fabulous Simply Sent card, and a little linen thread to finish.
