SERENE SILHOUETTES
Stamp Set
This card was made using some of my scraps from other projects, but it seems to work, and I enjoyed making it. My latest love is Stampin Up!'s latest Paper Stacks ... this card is using the Fresh Prints DSP Stack from the current Spring/Summer seasonal catalogue. I also love the current trending of cool blues, mid brown and reds ... they look so fab together.
I began with a piece os Whisper White cardstock 12 x 12 cms and used Versamark ink to stamp the silhouette image, and heat embossed using White embosing powder,
Then out came my Stampin Sponges and off I went sponging the cardstock using Pool Party ink. Start in the middle of the image and work in a circular fashion, gradually extending the circles until you have blended a graduated colour across the cardstock. This was then mounted onto a piece of Island Indigo cardstock. Soft Sky seam binding ribbon was the trim I used.
I then used some of my scraps from the paper stack and mounted them onto a piece of Soft Suede cardstock 14 x 14cms.
I had some of the lattice cards from the Simply Fabulous Simply Sent card kit. So U attached a strip of the lattice to the top and bottom edges of the card.
The sentiment is from the Sweet Essentials stamp set was stamped using Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White cardstock, and again sponged using Pool Party ink.. This was then die cut using the extra large oval punch and popped up using Stampin Dimensionals. Mount onto a 15 x 15cms card blank
