Catalogue Countdown Day 14

Fathers Day ...hrmph!!

Am I the only card maker who struggles making cards for men?
I do hope not, I truly do. Do you think male card makers struggle making cards for women?

Ah well ... such is life .... but I have to get prepared for Fathers Day well in advance, as I mull over what stamp sets to use. If I use Coastal Cabana and or bermuda Bay, will the card be too feminine .... grrr ... such decisions keep me awake at night, and then I end up getting up and working in my workshop thought the night for fear that the design ideas in my head won't be remembered in the morning.
Please tell me I am not alone ... well maybe the working through the night is not entirely normal ... but you get the gist? The The problem is made worse by my Dad's birthday falling within days of Fathers Day

So in the end I went with Monotone
One is white on black and the other is black on white
and THE OPEN SEA is the stampset, with a TEENY TINY SENTIMENT added in for the ride.

I used basic black cardstock that was over inked with White Craft Ink (leave plenty of time for this to dry or there will be white smudges everywhere). and apart from the porthole images, the rest is identical. I used Crystal Effects to give a 3-D element to the projects.
