Papillon Potpourri in Blushing Bride and Wisteria Wonder

Today's post is the first of 5 cards that have been created using the same basic products
I wanted to show you how versatile the Colour Collection Designer Series Paper Stacks are
I am using the Subtles Stack, but you could easily replace this with any of the other 5 Colour Collection DSP Stacks
I would love you all to have a go and post your photo's onto my community Pinterest Board (see the information at the bottom of this post, Alternatively, you can post your photos on my Facebook Page or Twitter (see the left hand bar of this blog for the links).

Below are the products used in this series of Cards
You can view them in more detail, or order them online 24/7 via my Demonstrator Website

Table built using Product Table Builder by The Crafty Owl - Independent Stampin' Up! Demonstrator.
And here is how I made today's card:
Begin by making your 6" square card base using Thicker A4 Whisper White Cardstock
Next trim a piece of Blushing Bride Cardstock to 14.4 cms x 14.4 cms
Then trim a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 14 cms x 14 cms.
Next trim a piece of Blushing Bride DSP and a co-ordinating piece of Wisteria Wonder DSP to 13.6 cms x 13.6 cms.
Cut both of these in half on the diagonal, taking care to ensure any script on the DSP is kept in the correct orientation.
you now need to adhere two of the traingles to the Whisper White Panel (i.e. one triangle in Blushing Bride and the other in Wisteria Wonder DSP.
Adhere a piece of Tea Lace Doily to one edge of the card front.
Now for the flowers.
Draw some spirals on scrap DSP and cut them out using paper snips, Roll these up fairly tightly (I use my piercing Tool, but a stylus, or Quilling tool will also work).
You want 4 flowers in total, each in a different pattern or colour of the DSP's used on the card front.
Next, using Versamark Ink Pad, stamp your Sentiment from Butterfly Basics Stamp Set, and also a bunch of Butterflies from Pappillon Potpourri Stamp Sets, onto Frosted White Velum, and dust with White Embossing Powder, heat set using your Heat Tool.
Punch out the butterflies using the Elegant Butterfly Punch.
Attach the quilled flowers, and punched out butterflies using Glue Dots (see the photo's to aide with this).
Wrap around a piece of Pink Pirrouette Seam Binding Ribbon, and tie a bow,
Trim the Heat Embossed Vellum Sentiment to size and attach to the top of the card using Fast Fuse Adhesive,
Mat (layer) the card front onto the Blushing Bride cardstock you trimmed to size at the start,
then mount that onto your card base using Fast Fuse Adhesive or Tombow Multi-Purpose Liquid Glue (Tombow doesn't warp the cardstock and only needs to be used sparingly)
Add Basic Pearls to the flowers & Basic Rhinestones to the butterflies.
