From Land To Sea Lighthouse Birthday

I hope you are all enjoying your Sunday?

The weather here in Essex, UK is Got, Hot, Hot

And today we are having a family BBQ as we celebrate our Daughters Birthday

And the card I am sharing with you today is a card I have made for another family Birthday, one of my 3 younger brothers.

He is a Scuba Diving Instructor so I always try to make a nautical themed card for him.

And my Mum always asks me to come up with a similar card she can give him too.

You will get to see that card over the next few days

Concentrating on today's card I have combined 4 stamp sets

The background is from

GORGEOUS GRUNGE

The ships wheel, Llighthouse & lanterns are from

FROM LAND TO SEA

and the anchor stamp is from

BY THE TIDE

The background designer series paper is from the English Garden Designer Series Paper.

The background that the lighthouse sits on, is simply a piece of torn Sahara Sand Cardstock that has been stamped with the splatter from Gorgeous Grunge using Sahara Sand Classic Ink Pad; whilst the white 'sky' background was stamped with the same splatter stamp,but this time, using Lost Lagoon Classic Ink Pad to give that seafoam effect.

The sentiment, and the other stamped images were stamped using Early Espresso Classic Ink PAd, and I used the Rose Red Stampin Write Marker to add colour to the lighthouse.

The sentiment was die cut using one of the thinlits dies in the Project Life Card & Labels Dies Pack. This was popped up using Stampin Dimensionals
