Stamp Set Showcase Week One (5)

I hope you are all enjoying the Stamp Set Showcase?
Only a couple of BY THE TIDE  stamp set projects to go ... can you believe it?
I know I am. I love to challenge myself, so each week I want to try something new or a bit different to my norm, and that will be tomorrow's post. But for today, it is another of my cards. I really love making 15 x 15 cards (6 x 6 inches). I think they look so stylish whether they are made into Stepper Cards, Easel Cards, One Layer Cards, or Pop Up Cards. But I also love them as they come, just like today's card.

Begin by Trimming a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 30 x 15 cms. Use your Stampin Trimmer to score the long side of the card at 15cms, fold and burnish with a bone folder.

Trim a piece of  Island Indigo cardstock to 14.5 x 14.5cms and stamp with the Hardwood background stamp using Early Espresso ink,

Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 14 x 14cms and stamp with the Hardwood Background stamp, again in Early Espresso.

Use a piece of the  left over stamped Island Indigo cardstock to 9.5 x 9.5cms, and trim further piece to 6.5 x 6.5 cms.

Then trim a further 3 pieces of Whisper White cardstock to :
12 x 12cms; 9 x 9 cms; and 6 x 6cms.
Using first, second & third generation stamping technique, Stamp the the By The Tide stamps as follows:
1) Coastal Cabana Ink and the sentiment stamp
2) Rich Razzelberry ink and the Seaweed stamp
3) Baked Brown Sugar ink and the seashell stamp
4) Early Espresso ink and the Seahorse stamp

Layer the stamped Whisper White cardstock onto the squares of stamped Island Indigo cardstock.
Layer up and attach using a combination of Tombow multipurpose glue and Stampin Dimensionals.
Wind some Linen Thread and Thick Bakers Twine around the layered up card, and ties bows, add a vintage Brad and a mini wooden peg. Stamp the sentiment from the That's The Ticket stamp set in Island Indigo ink and punch out with the Ticket Duo punch.
Punch a further Ticket using a scrap of the stamped Island Indigo cardstock. Mount by the Vintage Brad using Stampin Dimensionals.
Adhere to the card blank & add a few basic pearls
