Butterfly Basics In Colour

Happy Weekend To You All

I hope you have something special planned for your weekend?

And I hope that the torrential Rain that has fallen in Essex over yesterday and today holds off

Because we have overhead cables (no fibre optics in rural areas) we have lost out WiFi grrr

We will have to wait for the water levels to drop before it comes back

But the weather just drove me into my Workshop, so I could hide whilst making a few cards.

This is the first of them. I made this card for our daughters 28th Birthday yesterday.

Karley (our daughter) is a very beautiful woman with a unique quirky, kitsch, vintage style

So I wanted to reflect some of these in the card that I made

And I knew straight away that it just had to be the 2015-2017 In Colours of

Tip Top Taupe

Mint Macaron

Delightful Dijon

& Watermelon Wonder

Stamped onto Very Vanilla Cardstock that was mat onto a Tip Top Taupe Card Base

For contrast  I stamped the Ferns in Always Artichoke Classic Ink Pad, using First & Second Generation Stamping Technique

(this just means how many times you stamp onto the cardstock before re-inking the stamp)

There is also some Early Espresso Classic Ink Pad in there for the sentiment and the postage stamp.

The sentiment is & the butterflies are from the Butterfly Basics Stamp Set too., 

The smaller butterflies were punched out using the Bitty Butterfly Punch, and the larger butterfly was Die Cut through my Big Shot, using the Butterfly Thinlets.
