Over The Rainbow for our sweet little Skye

I have a very special card to share with you today.
It is my youngest Granddaughter's 3rd Birthday today, and this is the card I made for her.
And her name is Skye. A beautiful name for a bright little girl
and of course there always has to be plenty of fluttering things
And for a little girl who loves to paint and draw

it seemed appropriate that I get out my Many Marvelous Markers
And now  that Stampin Up has it's own Archival Ink Pads (in Basic Black and Basic Grey)
you can now colour away with these water based Markers without the concern of the colour bleeding outside the stamped image.
Here I used the Basic Grey to give an almost nude outline

The main stamp set is
 OVER THE RAINBOW

The bottom layer was of the card front by stamping some Old Olive Cardstock, with Bone of the butterflies from the Pappillon Potpourri Stamp Set using Basic Grey ink.The photo's don't show the full 3D effect of the butterflies, but each of the butterflies were  was made by punching an Elegant Butterfly from each of the rainbow colours, and then stacked up, before topping with a stamped butterfly from Pappillon Potpouri Stamp Set,
Wish was also punched out using the Elegant Butterfly Punch,
And I really got in touch with my inner child by using the markers to create the butterfly light path lines
And of course I had to pack in as any of the sentiments from the Over The Rainbow stamp set, as I could, but I just HAD to highlight the 'Sky's The Limit, sentiment by punching it using the Label Bracket Punchout and popping it up on Stampin Up Dimensionals.
The top layer of the card was mat (layered) onto a piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock leaving a narrow border).
I finished off the card by adding the stacked butterflies and adding a few Basic Rhinestones.

All the rubber stamping was done with the Stampin Write Markers
including the Birthday Sentiment from Sassy Salutations Stamp Set
And below are the products used for my little sykes card
