Sale A Bration 2015 Week 8 Day 5

Keeping with the Wedding Theme, Today I have a Favour /  Gift Tag For Youwith ooodles of Lush Ribbon & Lace that co-ordinates with the Inks used on the Tag itself and the Kraft Cardstock
Very Vintage Homemade Wedding that is SO in fashion right now.

And here is your Product List

CHEERS TO LOVE Stamp Set
Big News Stamp Set
Angled Tag Topper Punch
Neutrals Stampin Write Markers
Subtles Stampin Write Markers
Kraft Cardstock
Sahara Sand Lace Trim
Bermuda Bay Sequin Trim
1/4" Cotton Ribbon (Marina Mist)
Linen Thread

To begin this tag, it is cheaper and quicker to purchase the Kraft Cardstock and make the tags yourself using either the Angled Tag Topper Punch (pictured here) or the Scallop Tag Topper Punch.

Trim the Kraft Cardstock into pieces measuring 5cms x 12 cms
Punch one short end of each piece of trimmed cardstock using the Tag Topper Punch of your choice. Repeat with all the pieces of cardstock you have trimmed to size.

Next is the rubber stamping using the CHEERS TO LOVE stamp set.
You have noticed that there is two colours on the tag but only one rubber stamp that produces the Happily Ever After Stamp. Now there is two ways of doing this. The first and more fiddly way is to use a Masking Technique where you print the image onto paper with a sticky edge (e.g. a post it note) and cut out the two different elements of the sentiment stamp. You place one mast (the HAPPILY) onto the cardstock and stamp the Happily using Soft Suede Ink.
Clean the Stamp and them repeat the same process with the EVER AFTER using the other mask, and a Stamp A Ma Jig to get perfect alignment of the stamps. and again clean the stamp. You will need to repeat the above process for every tag you need to make.

Now I  love using Masking in my crafting, BUT when you are making items in bulk, you want the easiest and quickest method of stamping, so here is OPTION 2

Take your rubber stamp and use the Soft Suede Marker in the Neutrals Stampin Write Marker Pack and the BRUSH END and ink up the HAPPILY portion of the stamp.
Next, take the Marina Mist Marker in the Subtles Stampin Write Marker Pack and colour in the EVER AFTER part of the stamp. If the ink looks to have dried a little, just give a big huff of breath onto the inked area of the stamp, and stamp onto your Tag .... see how much easier that is and many fewer steps too!!

This is the option I go for when making the same product in bulk.
Now stamp some Hearts from the BIG NEWS Stamp Set

Finally, thread those lush Ribbons and Trims and secure them by tying them off with a little Linen Thread.

I would love to here from you if you give this Technique a go,
