Sale A Bration 2015 Week 9 Day 6

Apothecary Art meets Beautifully Baroque and Lovely Lace

Well, what a week!
My poor mother-in-law who lives in Southern Ireland was rushed into hospital and needed emergency bowel surgery for an ischaemic bowel, bless her. She is still very poorly and in Intensive Care, but is off the ventilator. A worrying few days, but hopefully she will make a full recovery.

With her in mind, I made this SO Grateful Card, that will be winging it's way to her to let her know how grateful we all are that she is made of strong stuff!!! So this is for you Milie ....

I have used a combination of Pear Pizzaz and Whisper White for the card with a little Chocolate Chip ink for the sentiment. (I was thinking of mint choc chip colour combo).

The card front was dry embossed with  the Lovely Lace Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF)

I used Labels Nestie Framelits to die cut the central sentiment/ floral stamp which was stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink onto Whisper White Cardstock. The layered label was created by die cutting the next size up Label framelit in Pear Pizzazz cardstock, and then dry embossed using the Beautiful Baroque TIEF.
The card was accessorised with  a little Mossy Me and attach a Stitched Satin Ribbon.
Layer up the labels with Stampin Dimensionals, and pop the layered label up onto the card front with stampin Dimensionals again.

Tie a bow with some Mossy Meadow Stitched Satin ribbon and attach tot he card front with a couple of Glue Dots.

Finish by stamping the SO GRATEFUL stamp (also in the Apothecary Art Stamp Set) in Chocolate Chip ink.
Trim the sentiment to 1cn wide and a couple of centimetres long than the sentiment. Create banner ends to the Sentiment label by inserting one end of the sentiment strip in through the top of the Banner Punch, guiding it between the cutting blades, and punch. Repeat with the opposite end. Attach some Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of sentiment label, and attach on top of the Apothecary Art label.
