Sale A Bration 2015 Week 11 Day 1

Now, if you follow myblog, you will be very aware that I love making cards (and a little scrapbooking too)since you will see my daily blogposts (if you don't then you should he he). 

I am also aware that many of you already like dabbling in card making and other crafts, and some of you say you would love do have a go, but lack creativity ... how many of you fall into one of the above?

Well, I am looking at organising a few free and hopefully fun events so you can come and have a go! 

There will be freebies on offer, and a few prizes too ... and you will get to make one or two simple cards  using items from the current catalogues.

And I am not missing out my friends who live further afield. Now for today's card ... this is the brother card that I shared with you the other day. That one was made using subtles Stampin Write Markers and this one uses mostly the Markers from the BRIGHTS collection

 Why? Well this lovely stamp set is one of the SAB exclusive stamp sets that you can earn for FREE when you spend £45 on products in any of the current catalogues (i.e. the Annual Catalogue and the Spring/Summer mini Catalogue). 

This stamp set is not available for purchase. 

This one is made using the The Brights Collection Stampin Write Marker Pens, with the addition of Baked Brown Sugar from the 2013-15 In Colour Stampin Write Marker.

I used the Big Day Stamp Set and stamped it onto Whisper White Cardstockmeasuring 9cms x9 cms using Baked Brown Sugar Classic Ink Pad.

Next, you want to use the markers to colour in the images, I found the brush tip gave the best end result. 

Once you have finished colouring in, you want to do a little subtle sponging around the edges of the panel to echo the colours used in the stamped images. Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of this panel.

Now mat this panel onto a piece of Baked Brown Sugar Cardstock that has been Dry Embossed   using the Alphabet Press Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) measuring 12 cms x 12 cms. Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of this panel too.

Mat the layered topper onto a piece of Tangerine Tango Cardstock measuring 12.5 cms x 12.5 cms. and finish by mountingthe card front onto a 6" square White Card Blank
