Stamp Set Showcase Week 15 (6) Festival of Trees

Good morning to you and hope you are having a good one?

For those of you in the UK, did you sleep the extra hour we had last night? Or have you made the most of it by getting up earlier and having a great day before the blackness of the night swamps us much too early?

For those of you outside the UK, last night was the end of British Summer Time, as the clocks went

back and hour

(remember folks - Spring Forward - Fall Back)

Anyway, on the penultimate day of this weeks Stamp Set Showcase I have for you a

FESTIVAL OF TREES GIFT TAG

for you

And this is a really quick make using two fab punches - the Scallop Tag Topper Punch and the new Confetti Stars Punch

And here is the Tutorial

Begin by trimming a piece of Silver Glimmer Cardstock to 5cms x 18cms & punch one end with the scallop tag topper punch

Next, trim a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock to 4.5cms x 17.5 cms & also punch one end with the scallop tag topper punch

Punch the bottom section of the Cherry Cobbler cardstock with the Confetti Stars Punch.

Adhere the cherry cobbler tag on top of the Silver Glimmer tag using Mini Glue Dots

Next, trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 4cms x11cms. Round the corners using the corner punch or the corner rounder on the Envelope Punch Board (EPB).

Using Pool Party ink, stamp a few snowflakes using the bauble stamp in the Festival of Trees stamp set.

Next, sponge a fes snow drifts using Soft Sky ink.

Stamp some Spruce trees using Smokey Slate ink. Sponge some subtle pink to the shy using Blushing Bride ink, and also blue over the trees using Soft Sky ink

Wrap around some 1/8" Silver ribbon and tie a bow leaving long tails.

Thread some Cherry Cobbler Sheer Cotton Ribbon through the tag tops and tie a knot.

Add some Basic Rhinestones

And you are done ...
