Day Two of this weeks Stamp Set Showcase

And todays card is using Heat Embossing onto Soft Suede cardstock

You could also make this on Island Indigo cardstock with white embossing powder for a more Christmassy feel.

Todays card also uses anotherfab stamp, the wood stamp fromt the Truly Grateful stamp set in the main annual catty.

Begin by making your 6" square (15cms x 15cms) card blank by trimming a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 15cms x 30cms.

Score the long side at 15cms, fold along the score line and create a crisp fold using your bone folder,

Next trim another piece of Whisper White cardstock to 14.5cms x 14.5cms. Stamp this with the wood stamp in the  Truly Grateful stamp set using soft suede ink.

Next trim a piece of Soft Suede cardstock to 12cms x 12cms

Stamp this with the bird and leaf stamp using Versamark ink Pad, and sprinkle with  white embossing powder.. Give the back of the cardstock one quick flick with your fingers to get rid of any excess powder.

Now for your Heat Tool. Do not be tempted to wiggle your heat tool around, there is no need. Concentrate on one area, and move to the adjacent area as soon as the embossing powder has melted, Work your way around the cardstock in this manner.

Stamp your sentiment of choice from the An open Heart stamp set onto Whisper White cardstock. Trim the cardstock to 1cms wide and then insert the stamped cardstock through the top (not the front) of the Banner punch to create your banner ends. Do this with both ends of the sentiment strip

Wrap some Gold1/7" ribbon around the lower piece if the Soft Suede panel & tie a bow.

Apply to the Soft Suede Panel. Apply Stampin Dimensionals on the reverse side and attach to the card blank at a slight angle.
