Stamp Set Showcase 2015 For the New Two (& the Artisan Embellishment Kit

Good Afternoon everyone!

Sorry, I am a little late posting today, but we had visitors from Belgium with us this-morning. They brought some rabbit related items over for us, and were collecting a couple of rabbits from us too.

It was beautiful sitting on the patio with the sun beating down. It is so warm today that I was almost dozing off whilst sitting chatting with out friends.

So here is today's card

I have used a reverse Ombre Technique on some of my left over Irresistibly Yours Emboss Resist Designer Series Paper.

I made the base card (6" square) using the Irresistibly Yours DSP

I then trimmed another piece of the same cardstock measuring 5" square.

I then sponged the DSP using a combination of Wisteria Wonder ink and Soft Sky ink.

Start sponging from the top of the cardstock and work your way down so the colour dilutes as you sponge. Always start from the top, working down and that will give you the most intense colour at the top.

Next, trim a piece of Marina Mist cardstock to the same size as the Die Cut panel in the Artisan Embellishment Kit.

Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the back of each panel and layer them up as shown in the photo;s, offset each layer for extra dimension.

Srap around a piece of Whisper White 5/8" Organza Ribbon and tie a bow.

Attach the die cut, white side showing and use Glue Dots to attach it to the card front.

Finally, stamp you Sentiment from The New Two Stamp Set onto white Vellum using Black Stazon ink (because it dries to quickly). Attach to the centre of the card using Glue Dots.

And there you have it, I told you it was quick to make, didn't I?
