Stamp Set Showcase Week 8 (4)

Welcome to another day of GORGEOUS GRUNGE

Until I started this weeks stamp set showcase, I had only used Gorgeous Grunge with one stamp set (now retired) which was Rev Up The Fun, and for some reason, I lacked the imagination to move beyond that ... until this week. Now I realise just how versatile the stamp set is ... so in a way, leaving most of my stamp sets  behind at last weekends craft fair was a good thing, as I had to use Gorgeous Grunge as the main background builder for the first day, and now I am totally in love with Gorgeous Grunge !

And this card has been made for a good friend of mine, and I love her sense of humour, so Giggle Greetings seemed the right stamp set ... and of course it was a great opportunity to use my blendabilities!

So here we go

You are going to need your Squares Collection Framelits and your Big Shot Die Cutting Machine

Take a scrap piece of Whisper White cardstock and stamp the Cheese using Black Memento Ink. Leave the ink to dry completely, and then get out your Blendabilities and colour in the cheese and the plate.
Die cut the cheese using the nearest sized square framelit.
Then die cut a piece os Marina Mist cardstock.
You are now going to dry emboss the Marina Mist cardstock using the Lacy Brocade Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) - currently in the Clearance Rack on my On-line Store ... hunt hint he he

Mount the cheese onto the dry embossed layer with Stampin Dimensionals. Place Dimensionals on the back of the Embossed panel too.

Now you need to die cut the large square scallop in Night of Navy cardstock, and dry emboss this layer with the Lacy Brocade Embossing Folder

Then die cut the next size down square framelit (12cms x 12cms) using Whisper White cardstock.

Now it is your chance to have a bit of fun with Gorgeous Grunge

I used a combination of So Saffron and Melon Mambo, but you choose what you fancy, with the grid lines stamp and the large slat stamp.
Add some Night of Navy seam binding ribbon, and layer up using Dimensionals on each layer.

Stamp your sentiment of choice from the 'And Many More' stamp set.
Die cut the sentiment using the Word Window punch.
Then pumch out a Modern Label in Night of Navy cardstock. Attach the sentiment to the card. Add a few basic rhinestones for that touch of sparkle and you are done!

Happy Stamping
