Stamp Set Showcase Week 8 (5)

Helo & hopefully, Good Morning all of you.

Firstly, thank you to all of you that made such lovely comments ont he Anniversay card I made for my Hubby (Our Anniversary was Monday). It took me ages to make a card I felt was deserving of him. He is my soulmate and best friend you see, so before I get to todays card make, I will give you a quick peek for those of you that haven't seen the card yet.

Anyway, today's card combines Gorgeous Grunge and Everything Eleanor Stamp Sets

I have used the subtle tones of Cris Cantaloupe, Calypso Coral and Soft Suede which are perfect partners. I chose to use Whisper White Cardstock, and in true me style, I have created the background using rubber stamps - and yes, stamps from Gorgeous Grunge. The flourish and the flowers come from the Everything Eleanor stamp set. This card is an A6 so you will need to begin by making your card blank by trimming a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 14.8cms x 21cms

Score the long side at 10.5cms, fold along the score line and burnish the fold with your bone folder. Put to one side well out of reach of any ink pads, sponges etc. (to prevent contamination of your lovely white card blank).

Trim a piece of Soft Suede cardstock to 14.3cms x 10cms

Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 13.8cms x 9.5cms.

This is the piece of cardstock you are going to be stamping

I begin with the lightest colours, and working up to the darkest colours.

You are going to begin by stamping grid lines using Crisp Cantaloupe ink

Over-stamp this with a few lines in Calypso Coral

Stick with the Calypso Coral and get your Everything Eleanor Stamp Set, and stamp some Flourishes. Then clean the stamp and stamp a couple of the flourishes in Soft Suede ink.

Next you need to stamp some of the Medium and small flowers, again in Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White cardstock. Stamp a couple of flowers onto Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock too. Cut them out with your paper snips.

Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of your flowers and adhere them to the stamped cardstock, around the flourishes. Layer your stamped cardstock onto the Soft Suede cardstock.

Add some Basic Rhinestones. Adhere the layered card onto your card blank and you are done.

Lastly, you need to stamp your sentiment of choice from the 'And Many More stamp set. Die cut this using the Word Window Stamp Set. Sponge the cardstock with Calypso Coral ink.

Now die cut the Modern Label punch, from Calypso Coral cardstock

Mount onto the card blank using Stampin Dimensionals.
