Stamp Set Showcase Week 7 (1)

Yeh ... the start of a new week and you know what that means don't you?

Of course you do ... it means a new Stamp sSet Showcase

And this week we have

CHALK TALK

You will also see quite a bit of the co-ordinating Die Set, also called Chalk Talk, through the week

To kick us off, we have a little Kraft Card  Design
Simple, stylish and quick to make
And me, being me, it has vintage undertones

The floral background is from a couple of stamps in the HELLO DARLING stamp set

Begin by trimming a sheet of Kraft card to 12cms x 24cms
With the long side at the top of your scoring tool (metric place) score at 12cms
fold along the score line and burnish with your bone folder.
Trim a piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock to 11.5cms x 11.5cms
Finally, trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 11cms x 11cms

Now for the Stamping
Take your piece of Whisper White Cardstock and stamp the small floral stamp randomly over the cardstock with Soft suede ink
Then take the teeny honeycomb like stamp and randomly stamp this over the cardstock using Crumb Cake ink.

Time for your Stampin Sponges to come out, along with the Crisp Cantaloupe ink pad
Now you  are going to blend the Crisp Cantaloup ink over the stamped images, keeping is darker around the edges and corners, and a leave some areas with little or no ink
Cut a tea lace doily in half and adhere this to the right hand side of the card (I fold a little over the back of the card to give a neater finish to the card.)
Mount the stamped cardstock onto the Tango cardstock, and then mount this onto the Kraft card blank.

Now for some more stamping and die cutting.

You need a small piece of Crisp Cantaloup cardstock and another small piece of Calypso Coral.
Onto the Crisp Cantaloup cardstock you need to stamp the smallest label with Soft Suede ink
And onto the Tangerine Tango cardstock you need to stamp the 'There's you in the world' stamp, also in Soft Suede ink.
Die cut both of these using the corresponding Chalk Talk Framelits Die
Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of each die cut, and mount one on top of the other, and then mount the combined topper onto your card
Colour a few Basic Rhinestones with your Crisp Calypso Coral Blendability pens, and add to the card as a nice finishing touch.
Definitely a all occasion card to keep in your card stashappy Stamping
