Stamp Set Showcase Week 7 (5)

Day Five in this weeks Chalk Talk Stamp Set Challenge

And as for me ... well I am shattered! We were up early to feed and water our menagerie before setting off to a Craft Fair.
Combining our Stalls for both Fabric Textile Craft and Paper Craft is always a challenge, made more challenging as we were in an amazing historic Barn dating back to Roman times
SOOO beautiful and SOOOO rickety!
But I am not complaining as we had a good days trading, got home at a reasonable time to feed and water the animals again he he
Lets hope the weather holds off for tomorrow for an equally good day.
One thing I love about these events is doing the Make and Takes with the Children.
The looks on their faces when they have made a card for the first time. And they all go away as happy stampers. One young lad, has come for make and takes at several events, and is getting his cards framed and mounted on his bedroom wall ...

Although todays product list is rather large, most of the items on the list are staples for your crafting, and will be used in many, if not all your card & scrapbooking creations
I picked todays items to show you how the different Flower stamps & punches co-ordinate with one another. And once you have them, you have them ...

So to start, you need to make your 6" Square card blank by trimming a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 15cms x 30cms (6" x 12")
Trim a piece of Old Olive cardstock to 14.5cms x 14.5cms

Trim a piece of Whisper White cardstock to 12cms x 12cms
Take the dotty acrylic stamp from the Dotty Angles stamp set, and randomly stamp over the cardstock using Melon Mambo ink.
Working Quickly, take your piece of Stampin Sponge (i cut my sponges into 8 pieces) blend the residual ink over the cardstock to create a graduated background.
Now take your piece of trimmed Old Olive cardstock and using the Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) run it through your Big Shot (Tab 2) or your Texture Boutique. Leave a strip of cardstock that isn't embossed.
Mount this piece of card onto the Old Olive, dry embossed cardstock (I used Tombow MP Glue for this).

Now to make the flowers
On some scrap Whisper White cardstock, stamp a variety of the stamps listed on the table below (you can also see the images), and a combination of the following inks:

Melon Mambo
Rich Razzelberry
Garden Green
Punch these out with the corresponding Punches.
Layer them up in different combinations using either Stampin Dimensionals & Glue Dots, alternating them so you get different heigts as you build the images around your card.
Stamp your Sentiment using Rich Razzelberry ink and either cut it out free hand or use the Extra Large Oval punch.
Add some Basic Rhinestones, and you are done!
If you have a Pinterest account, do share your own versions of this card with me (Kim Tolton), otherwise you can share them on my facebook page

Happy Stamping
