Stamp Set Showcase Week 6 (3)

Today I have another quick make ... and I mean a quick make. It is also suitable for complete novices to try as their first foray into rubber stamping.

So today Yippee Skippee is meeting Blooming with Kindness in Blackberry Bliss
And it all comes together in a Mini Muslin Bag

And we will begin with the mini muslin bag.
Firstly you need to pop a scrap piece of cardstock inside the muslin bag to prevent the ink bleeding though all layers of the bag.
Mount your Blooming With Kindness stamp onto an acrylic Block (unless you are using a wood mounted stamp).
With stamping you need a quick but firm stamping technique. You want to stamp down squarely, press firmly and quickly lift the stamp up. Practice on some scrap pieces of paper before committing to stamping on the bag. And here's the think, if you ireon the stamped bag (once it has dried and iron with a sheet of paper over the top of the stamped image, and it will set the image making it washable.
These little bags make a great alternative to an Advent Calendar too ...

Next get a piece of Whisper White or Very Vanilla cardstock and using first, second and third generation stamping technique stamp the blooming with kindness stamp randomly over the cardstock. You also need to stamp the Yippee Skippee sentiment stamp of your choice on a piece of whisper white or very vanilla cardstock. Die cut the sentiment using the smaller die in the Chalk Talk Framelits Collection
Die cut the next size up framelit from your hand stamped cardstock. Lastly die cut along thin  label from the Chalk Talk framelits, in whisper white or very vanilla cardstock, Spong this last piece with  a stampin sponge with Blackberry Bliss ink. Die cut the largest tag in the Chalk Talk Framelits collection. Ink the edges of the other three labels you have die cut too.

For the finishing Touches, you need to layer up the different labels one on top of another and mounting with Stampin Dimesnionals. Pierce a hole in the bottom label and thread a piece of Venetian Crochet Trim through the hole and tie the Gift tag to the cords on the mini muslin bag.
I hope you enjoy making this project ... let me know how you get on

Happy Stamping
