Stamp Set Showcase Week 18 (4) White Christmas

Welcome back for another day of

WHITE CHRISTMAS STAMP SET

And believe it or not, this is even quicker to make than yesterdays card!
But do not be lulled into a false sense of security, as later this week I have a lovely tag and a gift idea that co-ordinates with the tag ... he he

But today has a little stamping and a little sponging onto Shimmery White cardstock and the colours are Smokey Slate, Soft Sky & a little Blackberry Bliss to create that snow stormy sky

Begin by making your A6 card blank from Whisper White Cardstock
by trimming a an A4 sheet to 14.8cms x 21cms. Score the long side at 10.5cms, fold and burnish the fold with your bone folder.
Next, trim a piece of Shimmery White cardstock to 10cms x 14.3cms

Stamp the Shimmery White cardstock twice with the tree stamp using Smokey Slate ink. Then stamp the snowman, the snowfall & the Sentiment Stamp of your choice.

Create the snow stormy sky by sponging the upper half of the stamped cardstock with Soft Sky using a Stampin Sponge. Then ink a different edge of the sponge (I cut my sponges into either 6 or 8 segments), and add a little blackberry Bliss ink to the sponge. Ink off some of the colour onto some scrap paper/card as this is a very intense colour, but we need a more subtle colour on this project. Sponge  a few areas of blackberry bliss to the sky ...

If you have Stampin Up's Grid Paper pads, then this is the perfect place for inking off, sponging, testing colour combo's etc, with space to leave your notes on one edge. It is imperial measurements on one side of the paper, and metric on the other ... I use mine ALL the time! And excellent value for money.

Anyway, I digress, but I will list the grid paper on the products list below if you fancy trying it out.

Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse of the stamped cardstock and attach to the card blank.

And that is it. A super Quick card needing very few supplies/products
You can easily make these in bulk with your children for them to hand out to their friends, relatives, teachers etc.
