Stamp Set Showcase Week 19 (7) Ornamental Pine

Welcome to the final posting in this weeks Stamp Set Showcasing

ORNAMENTAL PINE

stamp set

And today I have an extra long and  very sparkly Stars Gift tag for you.
That was made as I was trying to decide how I was going to use up some left over die cut stars, when my 4 year old grandaughter came into the workshop and directed me on what SHE wanted me to make with the stars he he!
And so, of course, how could I possibly deny her?
Do you think she may just have that creative talent from her Nanny??

The stars have been die cut from a combination of:
Kraft Cardstock

Under The Tree Specialty Designer Series Paper (which is actually printed Kraft cardstock, and fab quality)
&
Gold Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper

And Glimmer Paper in the following:
Red
Dazzling Diamonds
Champagne

I die cut all my stars from scraps in a completely random combination of DSP, Glimmer Paper  and cardstock in each of the different star die sizes.
Layer up the stars using Stampin Dimensionals between each layer. I used single, double and quadruple star layers for mine

To make the tag that the stars are attached to, you need to trim a piece of Kraft cardstock to 5cms x 20cms.
Use either the Scallop Tag Topper Punch or the Angled Tag Topper Punch (depending on what you have)
Thread a piece of Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon through the tag top.
Heat emboss a 3 Baubles from ORNAMENTAL PINE stamp set using Versamark onto Cherry Cobbler cardstock and Gold Embossing Powder. Punch holes in the top of the baubles, thread with 1/8" Gold Ribbon and tie through the Sheer Linen Ribbon, tie a bow.
Attach all your stars to the tag.
Make your sentiment tag by stamping the Christmas Wishes stamp in Versamark ink onto Shimmery White cardstock, and Hold Embossing Powder, heat set. Die cut the label from one of the Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse and attach to the tag.
Add a few Basic Rhinestones and you now have a lovely tag for some of those larger gifts where a small tag looks out of place.
Over to you to have a little fun with your scrap box!
