Stamp Set Showcase Week 17 (7) Many Merry Stars

Oh Yes .... A Box!!

Yes, today's MANY MERRY STARS Project is an idea for gift packaging and it doesn't get easier than this.

For speed and easy storage I have used one of Stampin Up's Tag a Bag Gift Boxes.
They do co-ordinate with the Tag A Bag accessory Kit, but this is all about the Many Merry Stars stamp set, so I have made my own embellishment and Star Tag
And you will also notice that the Cherry Cobbler Sheer Linen Ribbon is making another appearance today. I have stamped the Kraft fold flat box to make it unique
So here is the simplest of this weeks makes, but no-one would know!

To begin, you want to take one of the Tag A Bag Kraft Boxes (they come in packs of 8) and keep it flat. You will have an acetate slip cover as well as the box. Put the acetate to one side.

Stamp the outside of the box in a combination of the Many Merry Stars, using  both
Night of Navy ink and Cherry Cobbler ink.
Now you need to open the acetate slip cover , pop your gift in the box, and slip over the acetate cover

Next you want to stamp the large star stamp onto a scrap piece of the Under The Tree Designer Series Paper (DSP) and die cut using Cherry Cobbler ink and the Star Framelits. Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse.
Select the next largest Star Framelit and die cut a red glimmer paper star. Adhere the stamped star on top of the Glimmer star.

Now trim two pieces of Gold Glimmer Paper to 21 cms x 6 cms
Wrap these around the box and gently crease it where the corners are.
Place one at glimmer strip at each end of the box leaving a gap of a couple of centimeters from the end of the box.
Attach to the acetate cover using Glue Dots.

Wrap some Cherry Cobbler  Sheer Linen Ribbon around the center of the box and tie a bow.

Punch a hole in the tag and threat through a piece of Gold 1/8" ribbon and tie to the red bow, and thie a bow.

And that is it!!! Now it's your turn
