Stamp Set Showcase Week 19 (3) Ornamental Pine

With the countdown to Christmas encroaching on us much too fast, and with predicted low temperatures of -7 degrees C for next week
Todays ORNAMENTAL PINE Card seems
most appropriate
with it's cool blues  and frosted pine

And without further ado ... just in case I take too long and we get snowed in ... ha ha ... here is how to replicate this card and feel free to always CASE any of my makes, I am not precious about such things :)

You will need a 6" Whisper White card blank.
Next, trim a piece of A4 Coastal Cabana cardstock to 14.5 cms x 24.5 cms.
Create the background by randomly stamping the ink spatter stamp from Gorgeous Grunge stamp set in Versamark, dust with White embossing Powder, remove the excess and heat set with your heat tool.
Stamp the sentiment stamp at the top left of the cardstock with Versamark, dust with white embossing powder, remove the excess and heat set as above.
Ink up the Ornamental Pine stamp with Versamark and before stamping, ink with Bermuda Bay ink and stamp in the upper 2/3's of the cardstock. Dust with clear embossing powder and heat set.
Then ink up the pine cone stamp with Versamark and before stamping, ink with Soft Suede ink and stamp so the cone is attached to the pine. Dust with clear embossing powder, remove the excess and heat set.
Now you will need your White uni pball signo Gel Pen and create additional dimension tot he cone and pine by drawing lines along branches, pines, and the joints in between.

Now for the baubles. Trim a piece of Bermuda Bay cardstock to 5cms x 14.5 cms and attach to the bottom third of the stamped panel.
Next use your Trimmer to create 3 squares of Coastal Cabana cardstock measuring 4.5cms x 4.5cms each. Draw a deckle edge around the edges of each square using the White Gel Pen.
Now mount your bauble stamp onto an acrylic block (unless you have the wood mount stamps), Ink up the stamp with Versamark and before stamping, also ink with Bermuda Bay ink, stamp, dust with clear embossing powder, remove the excess and heat set.
Repeat with the other two square BUT CLEAN THE STAMP BETWEEN EACH SQUARE or you will contaminate your Versamark pad with coloured ink!
Apply Stampin Dimensionals to the reverse, and mount the 3 squares on the Bermuda Bay strip of cardstock at the bottom of the card,
Wrap around a piece of Bermuda Bay 1/8" taffeta Ribbon and tie a bow, & you are the job is done ...
